My name is Zaahidali “Ziggy” Nathu and I am twenty-five years old. I am from Richmond, BC Canada and turned professional after completing my collegiate golf career at the University of British Columbia. After a successful amateur career, I began my professional golf career in September 2019.

I grew up playing ice hockey, starting when I was four years old. After starting golf when I was eight, I realized at age fifteen I wanted to play golf at the collegiate level. I finished second at the BC Junior Championship in 2015 after shooting 11- under par over four days. I was invited to join the team at UBC after this accomplishment. Over my four years at UBC I was able to take my game to the next level, developing from a freshman into the team captain in my third year. In my senior season, I won twice individually, and captained the team to seven team wins, including the Canadian National Championship. In only my third professional start, I already won an event on the Vancouver Golf Tour. I spent the 2019/2020 winter in Scottsdale, Arizona competing on the Outlaw and Golden State Golf Tours, which are two prominent developmental tours in the United Sates. With a shortened 2020 season due to COVID-19, I made three out of four cuts on the Mackenzie Tour - PGA Tour Canada and finished 12th at the final event at TPC Toronto. In 2021, I made six of eight cuts on the Mackenzie Tour - PGA Tour Canada, with multiple top-10 finishes. I played on PGA Tour Latino America for the 2021-2022 season and on PGA Tour Canada for the 2023 season.

Education has always been a priority for my family and me. In high school I had a 94% average. I graduated UBC with honours and Academic All-Canadian status with a degree in Accounting from the Sauder School of Business. While pursuing this prestigious degree, I kept my golf at a high-level on a team that is continually ranked in the top-10 in the NAIA.
